The Hach SC200 Universal Controller

hachSC200

Designed to be an economically intelligent solution, the Hach SC200 Universal Controller with Ultrasonic Sensor provides highly accurate measurement levels that combine with a hydraulic structure to deliver permanent scenario flow data.  The SC200 flow instrument works exceptionally well in a number of settings, including monitoring effluent and sludge to inlet flow.  With support for up to two of Hach’s wide array of digital and water quality analog sensors, the SC200 is also incredibly versatile.

One of the SC200’s most overlooked yet powerful features is the unique on-board datalogger.  Although turned off by default, setting up the parameters and time interval is simple.  The datalogger supports level and flow collection data on up to two sensors or it can be configured to work with a single sensor and one of Hach’s water quality sensors. Conductivity, pH, and DO are among the several choices.

All SC200 data is stored internally but can be easily transferred to a standard SD card. Download options are only made available if an SD card has been installed.  This data can be very useful in determining where they may be a problem not revealed by customer SCADA.

Other features of the SC200 include fifteen different user selectable flow measurement units, four programmable relays, and a library of weir and flume types that’s already built-in.

Maximizing Efficiency and Cost Savings with Ultrasonic Clamp-on Flow Meters

In the realm of fluid dynamics, flow meters are an indispensable tool. They reliably measure the quantity and speed of fluids in various applications like managing water usage or monitoring potential leaks. However, installing traditional flow meters has often been a labor-intensive and costly procedure. We are now seeing a significant shift towards … Continued
