McCrometer’s full profile insertion (FPI) electromagnetic (mag) meter provides precise readings through the pipe’s full diameter, requiring a meter that is built especially for the pipe it will be mounted on.
A convenient and reliable way to ensure the right pipe ID (inside diameter) is measured and registered is to have this job done by a specialist. Also, having the right pipe and assembly site measurements is quick and convenient for the consumer to have. If available, clients may refer to pipe measurements based on sketches or pipe vendor requirements.
As new developments have pipe requirements designed for the flow project, pipe measurements on new constructions are usually for the consumer’s peace of mind.
