The Elster evoQ4

elsterEvoQ4

The water meters of today require durability, real-time accuracy, and improved reliability to keep up with the ever-evolving flow technologies that capture revenue and bring down the costs of operation.  The Elster evoQ4 is designed to be a robust, battery operated, revenue billing, no moving parts, electromagnetic flow commercial water utility water meter, delivering a high degree of accuracy via several flow ranges and varied conditions.  It is capable of accuracy performance ranges from 99.25% to 100.75% (+/- 0.75% error) of actual value through the normal flow range.  Commercial billing, network monitoring, and leakage detection are among the bulk flow metering applications where the evoQ4 can be used.

The evoQ4 virtually eliminates the need to deal with maintenance, boasting a ten-year battery life and no moving parts. The easy to read LCD display provides real-time net volume and instantaneous flow rate data while the built-in alarm functions ensure and prevent loss in measuring continuity. Installation of the evoQ4 is a simple matter of fit and go, eliminating the need for extra equipment involved with grounding rings or programming.  The stainless steel flow tube and IP68 rating protect the evoQ4 from water ingress, boosting its durability.
