Propeller Meter Provides Accuracy and Reliability in Water Flow Measurement

When measuring the flow of clean water in industrial and municipal applications, a tried-and-true method frequently yields the most precise readings. The Water Specialties propeller meter by McCrometer has earned the trust of many customers thanks to its high quality, long lifespan, and low maintenance needs.

The Water Specialties Model ML Flow Meter is a steel flanged-end tube meter with indicator-totalizer that is both reliable and simple to use. Depending on the size of the line, it measures liquid flow from 40 to 35,000 GPM with a measurement accuracy of ±2%. The ML is made to withstand temperatures up to 140°F and can be used in line sizes ranging from 2 to 48 inches. The meter’s design makes it highly adaptable in terms of installation possibilities; it can be set up in a horizontal, vertical, or inclined position.

The Water Specialties ML Flow Meter is known for its precision, sturdiness, and efficient performance. To prevent unauthorized entry, the tough construction includes hinged lids with padlock hasps and injection-molded plastic bonnets. NSF-approved fusion-bonded epoxy is used to coat the inside and outside of constructed steel meter tubes with straightening vanes and fabricated steel meter heads.

The Water Specialties series of propeller meters are made with premium materials and precise constructability. Dual thrust bearings made of long-lasting ceramic can handle both forward and backward flow. A one-piece, detachable separator/spindle is made of stainless steel in a cast bronze gearbox. O-ring seals are used in all locations where seals are required, including the meter head.
