Avanti Company Signs with Smart Earth Technologies

setflow

We are pleased to announce that we’ve signed a Florida distribution agreement with Smart Earth Technologies (SET).  The company has become well known for its SETflow Valve Control Platform for Itron 100W+ modules which consists of a hardware and software platform allowing significantly improved efficiency, convenience and control to utility customers delivering water to its customers.  The platform features a remotely controlled SETflow Smart Valve and a Valve Control Application.

The SETflow’s remote disconnect valve represents the evolution for 100W+ communication modules.  By easily plugging into the Itron radio module, the valve allows water utilities to seamlessly manage the connecting and disconnecting of water in the event a customer fails to pay their bills.  This remote method removes the need for the traditional on-site visit and also assists in reducing utility costs by removing the need for otherwise routine activities such as services relating to moving in or out.  This method also reduces the number of concerns related to on site worker safety.

Despite its robust capabilities, SETflow is designed for simplicity in both use and its design.  It arrives pre-assembled with an Itron inline connector cable that easily attaches to a 100W+ communication module’s blue telemetry connector.
