In an effort to encourage Avanti’s employees to take advantage of off business hours and spend more time with family and friends, Mr. Devlin has instituted a new communications policy for the company.

Effective immediately, Avanti has asked its employees to refrain from sending all forms of communication to customers, vendors and internally after 5 pm Eastern and before 8 am Eastern.  The policy states that employees should make notes or drafts of ideas and hold them for distribution until business begins. We have built our reputation on providing excellent service and as a result, emergencies and time-sensitive issues are excluded from the policy. In the policy, Mr. Devlin states: “Respecting the new policy should afford us more quality time with our family members and friends and send a message to our customers that Avanti is indeed a family company.”
