Learn More About the ExactSteam V-Cone System

exactSteamFor steam metering, mass flow, or energy metering, McCrometer’s ExactSteam V-Cone System provides a complete flowmeter solution. This meter provides accurate steam measurements across a full range and also includes modern low flow cutoff technology. Along with McCrometer’s acclaimed V-Cone technology, this flowmeter offers incredibly low permanent pressure loss to maximize plant efficiency.

Thanks to its forward-thinking design, the ExactSteam V-Cone System delivers an accuracy of ±0.5% of rate with up to a 50:1 flow range even when the flow conditions prove difficult. The system is capable of acting as a flow conditioner itself, which allows it to entirely mix and condition the flow before it’s measured. Even if flow situations begin to change, the readings will still remain reliably precise.

Because of the ExactSteam V-Cone System’s self-conditioning flow capabilities, there is practically no need for upstream or downstream straight pipe runs. As a result, it can be installed virtually anywhere in a piping system or it can be retrofitted in an existing pipe layout, allowing for a tremendous amount of flexibility and cost savings.

The Indispensable Role of Flow Meters in Sewer Flow Monitoring

The Avanti Company readily endorses the importance of proactive measures when it comes to maintaining an efficient and health-oriented sewer system. Key among these measures is regular sewer flow monitoring, a practice that significantly aids in the identification of potential operational hitches before they evolve into major, often costly repairs. In view of this, the … Continued
