Minimal Straight-run Requirements with the McCrometer Ultra Mag

ultraMcCrometer will be showcasing the Ultra Mag meter at this year’s WEFTEC, an annual event aimed at water quality education and training for water quality professionals. With that in mind, it’s worth discussing what this innovative mag meter can do.

The Ultra Mag is an advanced solution requiring just 1diameter of pipe upstream and 0 diameter downstream of the majority of flow disturbers. Even with these advantages, it can maintain 0.5% accuracy among large flow ranges. The meter was designed to address the unique needs of industries such as water & wastewater as well as for industrial applications.  Its one of a kind UltraLiner™ feature allows for optimum electrical insulation while protecting against abrasion and corrosion.

With its non-intrusive measurement element, the Ultra Mag is highly efficient in handling sludge, conductive liquids, or slurries. There is no risk of debris and solids clogging the line and the meter has been proven highly effective in water well production, pump stations, and more.
