Product Profile – The LCMag Flow Meter

Electromagnetic (Mag) flow meters are the latest innovation in the in the flow meter industry, offering exceptional accuracy and reliability for a wide variety of applications. The versatile LCMag by Liquid Controls – a leading specialist in multi-application flow metering, answers a wide range of your industrial measurement application challenges.

The LCMag is available in five models, each designed to serve a specific function: micro-flow, water, sanitation, flanged, and insertion-style. These units are available in a variety of sizes and flow ranges that are suited for many industrial and OEM applications, including agriculture, food and beverage, chemical, pulp and paper, water and wastewater, and much more.

The LCMag is especially designed to measure the flow of electrically conductive liquids (5µS/cm minimum), thanks to several state-of-the-art technical features. Unlike many rival meters, the LCMag’s accuracy is not impacted by fluid characteristics like viscosity, density, temperature, or suspended solids. The lack of moving parts and the absence of virtually any pressure drop are other attractive qualities.

As a result of these features, LCMag family of meters is highly versatile. Its nominal diameters are from ¹⁄4″ to 80″ while flow rates range from as low as 0.1 GPM to as high as 400,000 GPM. The meter’s high, full-scale accuracy is an impressive ±0.2% over a 10:1 range (for liquid velocity greater than 4 feet) with an HML210 Converter. Each LCMag model has automatic, dual-flow range capability, and a broad selection of liners, electrode materials, and process connections.

In short, the LCMag family is ideal for numerous metering needs. To learn more about our vast selection of flow and Water Meters, call the Avanti Company 800-284-5231 or email info@avanticompany.com.
