WaterPoint LNC Simplifies Leak Detection

Previously we talked about the WaterPoint Network (WPN) by 64seconds, a robust utility management system integrating several useful features such as leak detection and easy work order management. Today, we’re focusing on one of the components of WPN, WaterPoint LNC, a leak noise correlator capable of pinpointing pipe leaks designed for use on Apple® iOS devices.

The LNC features sensors capable of detecting pipe vibrations on access points. These vibrations are then transmitted wirelessly to the LNC Base. Through the use of modern signal processing, the app handles the information sent by the sensors alongside WPN map information to provide a location of where a leak is occurring.

By default, all correlations are saved automatically without any input from the user. These correlations include essential information such as images, any sound recordings, and results following an analysis. The data is accessible via the app or it can be securely kept or shared with others using the WPN Cloud Server.
